AGECO is a product of courage and passion to develop communities.

AGECO is Non-profit organization that deals with socio-economic challenges: High rate of illiteracy, unskilled young people, poverty, crime just to mention a few. We intend to assist in reduction of unemployment and poverty, and to instill ethics and moral values. We will be equipping and training Youths and women for different skills so as them to be able to stand on their own not depending on government to get jobs, but to be self-supporting citizens.
Led by Reverend P. Mpisana, AGECO is a product of courage and passion to develop communities. Reverend P. Mpisana comes with a lot of experience and skills that can be tapped to develop communities in many fields of life. He envisions to see progress in development in terms of Nation building, Business skills training, Infrastructure development and Moral Regeneration. Through AGECO, he seeks to make an impact in the lives of the desolate and poverty-stricken communities.

AGECO primarily seeks to play the biggest role in rural areas where the most social ills, lack of service
delivery and poverty are most prevalent. They have identified the most pressing challenges that are
faced by communities in rural areas and their efforts are directed towards making a difference by
addressing these challenges. These include solving the following.
- Extreme poverty
- Lack of skills
- Lack of Access to education
- Lack of social infrastructure and social Institutions
- And Climate change

AGECO works with people on the ground and is in touch with community problems. Through their understanding of these social ills, AGECO seeks to organize and rally resources behind the development of comprehensive solutions to these problems. They seek to introduce the development of social infrastructure that will benefit communities, they also seek to ensure that people from these communities have access to all social institutions and are empowered to be productive participants in the mainstream economy.
One of AGECO’s approaches is to provide education around climate change while equipping local communities to adapt and find ways to produce crops that will reduce poverty. But the most strategic approach is around the development of social enterprises that will be the beacon of hope in communities by proving much needed employment opportunities. Although AGECO is has a long term vision around the development approach of such communities, they also seek to alleviate immediate issues by providing feeding scheme programs as well.
