1. Executive Summary

Amazing Grace Empowering Community Project has the vision to equip and provide training to young people and the disadvantaged in life skills, leadership, administration and other practical workplace skills. This Project is further equipping leaders and managers from different Institutions and Organisations to equip and sharpen their skills to become more competent with character.

Our intent is to use highly qualified and skilled facilitators to equip these young people, the disadvantaged, leaders and managers. We will also make use of outsourcing where it is required, in order to provide quality production and outcome for our participants.

The aim of AGECP is to equip people holistically with practical skills for coping, bring peace, stability and self supporting communities in the Eastern Cape areas.

A holistic developed community with peace and stability incapacitated with necessary skills, In order to become self supporting and self -esteem.

Our Model for facilitation:

To instill the participants a knowledge and appreciation of their country, the Word of God, and to equip and develop the potential of the youth as community workers as well as entrepreneurs in order for them to make a positive difference and competence in workplace, communities and in their own generation.

Intentions:

• To establish a sustainable Project for leaders and managers.
  • To establish moral regeneration based on moral intelligence programme.
  • To conduct Spiritual ministry and counseling.
  • To instill moral & ethical values in the youth.
  • To impart knowledge and skills through education.
  • To enable youth to become self supporting.
  • To run workshops, seminars, retreats for a holistic community development.
  • To assist young people to become better citizens of SA and to receive wholeness, dignity and inner healing.
  • To involve stakeholders such as Municipalities, Captains of Industries, Farmers, Community leaders, Church leaders in the Project.
  • To offer a Program that emphasis on dynamic leadership and value based.
  • To promote learning environment integrated with the community, workplace and other institutions.
  • To provide quality educational opportunities and practical learning experience.

• The MISSION of Amazing Grace Empowering Community Project

The AGECP seeks to promote skills, social and self development in youth and disadvantaged people in the Eastern Cape areas, by working with other organizations and churches who share similar goals.

The AGECP is committed to a holistic approach in promoting the skills, the social well being and the wholeness of youth and disadvantaged people.

The AGECP programmes are an integral part of the AGECP Project and its mission. The programmes of AGECP are non sectarian and serve all people in need in the community, although the emphasis is placed on the youth.

To train young people to develop as youth development workers that will impact their own generation and their communities through after school programs, camps, community projects, etc.

To equip leaders, managers and Entrepreneurs from various institutions and organisations with different skills they need in their environments To equip the young people to become good citizens of South Africa and to make an impact and change in their communities and workplace, by their lifestyle and choices.

1. To establish working relationships and networking with other organizations, institutions and Churches.
2. To develop youth who have a low self esteem.
3. To create skills training and team – building.
4. To instill ethics and moral values.

6. To establish and evaluate the sources of conflict and identify and apply methods of appropriate resolution.
