AGECP is a new community-based empowering project vision by Rev. Petros Mpisana who is concerned about the non-conducive situations of the Eastern Cape disadvantaged and young people caused by socio-economic and moral decay, and other reasons: such as young people being raised by single

parents, teenage pregnancy, broken homes and families, poor backgrounds, etc. These situations are manifested by symptoms of school, drop-outs, street kids, juveniles, criminals etc. The other concern is the unacceptable rate of unemployment, especially the Youths which has resulted to unemployed

people waiting at the corners of traffic lights, four way stops, etc., waiting for jobs with empty stomachs.

Lastly, the lack of competency at the workplace which results to the failure of service delivery of the basic human needs in our communities, etc. Rev. Petros Mpisana took the initiative of this project to

fulfill the vision by establishing and compiling the community empowering programs and contents of this project.

AGECP is therefore, established to provide training and support mainly the disadvantaged and youths with social and economic disadvantaged with special skills to enable them to stand for any inclination situation that may come before them in their lives and instilling values so as them to become the better citizens. Doing this through our programs both in phase one and phase two, ensuring that South African youths are equipped and empowered, so that they can reach their full potential and gifts.
